  • Batteries: A key anode material in lithium-ion batteries. 
  • Refractories: Used in steel and automotive industries for crucibles, foundry coatings, brake linings, and gaskets. 
  • Nuclear Reactors: Used as a moderator in nuclear reactors. 
  • Other: Found in friction materials, coatings, aerospace, and powder metallurgy.
